I was carousing around on google reader and came across this blog by a guy named matt--a new dad. His story, his blog--it's very real, very raw, and very emotional.
I have been sitting here all morning reading all his posts. What a story.
It gives me a much greater respect/understanding for my grandpa... my paternal grandmother died after giving birth to my dad. Same thing, blood clots. He raised my dad for the first few years before re-marrying. Very similar story...
Really makes you appreaciate what (and who) you have!
Yeah, I've been reading this for a few weeks, too. Unbelievable. Funny how just recently he posted about never wanting to watch 'The Notebook' (best movie EVER, btw)...and Noah is all I think of when I see pic of him on his blog. Ugh. Heart wrenching, but so inspiring. And I have much love for that robot :)
Between your post and Mary's post today I am an emotional wreck. So sad. Something you never think about. It definitely makes me want to have a good heart-to-heart with DH tonight. Gah. Even thinking about doing THAT makes me tear up.

Oh my gosh....when did that happen? I am having a hard time trying to navigate and figure out the order but it is SO SO SO terribly sad :(
